Well, he's half right. The media does have a bigger responsibility than it's exercising. Not that I'd expect that to change anytime soon. The roles of "investigative reporting" and "government watchdog" just seem to be too much work for someone paid to do it.
Kommie Kerry is a US Senator. Instead of just talking the talk, why doesn't he walk the walk and propose legislation to deprive some people of their right to free speech? I suppose that would make it too obvious that he doesn't believe in the First Amendment, but that he does believe that some animals are more equal than others. "Your perspective is not valid, Comrade. No air time for you."
