A Botched Operation

Jerry Seper's conclusion-reaching process...[Read]

What was Phase 2 again, Jerr?

  1. I wish the press would quit calling it a "botched" operation. It went exactly as the Obozo administration wanted it to. The "emergency" reporting rule on long guns is the first step. I look for it to expand to all dealers before long.

  2. “Fast & Furious” was not a “botched” operation. It was a criminal operation carried out with the intentions of making true the lie that 90% of all firearms used by Mexican criminals originated in the United States. And, except for the unfortunate deaths of Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata it would probably have succeeded in justifying additional restrictions for US gun dealers and gun owning citizens.

Your present government is at war, and its enemy is you.

  3. ATF supervisor Mr. Voth says, "This is the pinnacle of domestic U.S. law enforcement techniques. After this, the toolbox is empty,..."

    and then,

"This can be the most fun you have with ATF, the only one limiting the amount of fun we have is you!"

So, ATF management thinks that violating International Trafficking in Arms Regulations, violating U.S. Federal Law, and violating the sovereignty of a neighboring country are all good fun.

The ultimate goal here, remember folks, was to demonstrate the American sourced firearms used in crime in Mexico and then proffer the obvious remedy, more restrictions on the rights of honest, peaceable, unwitting U.S. citizens.

Hey ATF agents, look in the fucking mirror! Your agency has a long and sordid history of doing dirty deeds. This did not happen in a vacuum. When exposed, the "aw shucks" card is usually played. To quote Senator Schumer, that paragon of Constitutional virtue, "Sure you guys might have fouled up, but you meant well..."

If, in the best case scenario, ATF is chock full of half-wits and nincompoops, it should be disbanded! If, in the worst case scenario, ATF is full of depraved crooks who think it is "The Pinacle of U.S law enforcement techniques" to have "fun" subverting the Constitutionally secured rights of the American people, it should be disbanded.

What type of person thinks it would be a great and wonderful career to work for an agency, the function of which, in statute law, is to subvert the Constitution he swore to uphold?

I said this before: You want to be known as "good guys"? Tell the filth who run your agency that you will no longer work against the rights of the American people. That you will never again work to subvert of the Constitution you swore to defend. Quit your job and get a job in the real economy. Better yet, start a business.

You want to enforce Federal Law? "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." That is the highest Federal Fucking Law. Go enforce that!
