  1. West Palm Beach Circuit Court... hmm... where have I heard of that place recently... Oh yeah, that's the home of Brian Geller, the founder of LEO ProCards.
Damn, sounds like West Palm Beach has a group of "officials" all around that think they should be exempt from the law (I'll not get into the pre-emption aspect or the rights of self defense we all are born with).

Amazing, if the Palm Beach politicians didn't pass illegal laws in the first place they wouldn't have had to go back and rescind all of them, I guess they liked being able to to implement their views whether legal or not as long as they could not be held responsible for them, thats all this new law does is hold them responsible, by going back and removing the laws they passed they are admitting they were illegal in the first place and that they knew it, but with no recourse they did as they pleased, they should be far more interested in following the law with so many of them going to prison for fraud.

  3. Since 1987 (24 years ago!), any gun regulation legislation that they passed would lead to arrest, prosecution and then a "not guilty" finding because of the state preemption. The arrestee would be penalized by the arrest and cost of legal representation, but the local government officials would not be punished for passing the unenforceable laws. Now there are personal consequences for those who would pass unenforceable laws. The concept that their powers of government are limited is difficult for these people.
