On Saturday evening at a Second Amendment Foundation reception, that point was brought home when the pair of bloggers who uncovered and then doggedly pursued the story that is now the "Gunrunner/Fast and Furious" scandal...

Their fine work, individually and collectively, may well be the tipping point that convinces industry leaders that the new media contains both solid writers and responsible journalists, despite the fact most don't have business cards with familiar logos or mastheads. [More]

I almost hung up on a snotty CNN producer some months back when he deferred investigating Gunwalker unless we gave up our sources to him because they "need to be more careful than bloggers."

Of course the commie statist dinosaur media solution is government subsidies, along with a "progressive" tax for those who "overproduce information."

Why isn’t every single office-holding recipient of NRA generosity on record demanding full and open investigations into how the Gunwalker scandal came to be, who authorized it, what damage has been done, what dangers still exist, and who is behind the evident cover-up?  What reason do any of these beneficiaries of gun owner trust and benevolence have for not being vocal and tireless leaders in demanding something they owe us anyway—the truth? Today's Gun Rights Examiner commentary notes it's time to put an "or else" behind the words. There's really no valid reason not to, and if it doesn't happen, we may as well just fold up the Gunwalker tent and stop making noise about it.
