Of course. It was too cold for the bangers to be out.
One local commenter noted that Chicago was not necessarily "murder free" for 24 hours, but that instead Chicago was "free from discovering unexpected dead bodies" for 24 hours. When it warms up enough for people to go outside, this may change.
