And Your Point Is?

"This is asinine to have these guys telling Casper they can't pass a gun [ordinance]," Hendry said. "That's the same thing as them telling us we couldn't ban them in this room." [More]
Yeah, no sh**.

  1. This is my letter to the person who "represents" this district in the WY house. ...for whatever it's worth.

    Dear Mr. Semlek,
Please support HB-60 to preserve individual rights. HB-60 will give the
current state preemption the "teeth" needed to fend off the gun-control
crowd within local governments here in Wyoming.

The only people who benefit from "gun control" are those who think they
own all of us and can dispose of our lives and property at their whim...
oh, and violent criminals, of course.

Criminals ALREADY ignore the laws against murder, rape and robbery... so
I really wonder why anyone thinks they would not be delighted at
restrictions placed on their potential victims.

No human being has the right, under any circumstances, to _initiate_
force against another human being, nor to delegate such initiation of
    force.

I own my life and body, and I am the only one responsible for that life
and my safety. That's why I carry a gun.

    Sincerely,
    Susan Callaway
    Newcastle, Wyoming

  2. jobo buddy said:No constitutional right is absolute.

I guess he missed that part about "shall not be infringed". Or the other part about "Congress shall make no law".

Why is it that the gun haters have a reading comprehension problem?

  3. Unfortunately, the measure failed to be approved by just two votes. We won't be able to launch it again until next year.

I wrote a thank you note to my "representative" for his yes vote. Hopefully, we'll have more warning next time.
