It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean. They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them.
Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years. [More]What an insight into the minds of these arrogant, demented freaks. Not that anyone aware of what collectivists in power historically do when they can get away with it should be surprised.
"Monopoly of violence," anyone?
You think, perhaps, that if the "villagers" in this "turkish town" were to grab the first five "roman soldiers" they could find and "crucify them" there would be a deterrent effect? Maybe those "roman soldiers" would be a bit less zealous to stomp on the natural and economic freedom of "turkish villagers".
ReplyDeleteDoes Al Armendariz really think those "turkish villagers" would just lie down and take it?.
Just thinking aloud...
