“The filibuster is exactly that — it’s a rule that’s crippled our system of government. Undocumented youth, perhaps like no other group, understands about the legislative process,” said Caesar Vargas, an illegal immigrant who went through college and law school and could benefit from the Dream Act legalization bill. “We have lived it; we have shed tears for it. And we have seen a minority able to cripple dreams.” [More]"Our system."
Hit it, Shirley...
I can believe it is also his system. Anyone who believes the myth is on-board. If you believe it, it doesn't matter where you call home; it is your system. Not mine.
ReplyDeleteThese ignorami have been brainwashed to think we live in a democracy instead of the republic in which we actually DO live. If they had any brains, they'd know that a republic is a MUCH better place for minorities (like them) than a more nearly pure democracy.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of using the courts to force changes in the Senate rules that the Dhimmicrats cannot effect on their own is on the one hand brilliant and on the other chilling. Looks like the Dhimmicrats want to render the Legislature irrelevant. Not sure how that is so great for folks like Reid and Pelosi but it could really go toward creating an imperial presidency.
Gonna get MEAN brothers and sisters.
