  1. According to the district court of Maryland, any civilian can go to a court commissioner, file a complaint on another person and -- without an investigation -- the commissioner can issue an arrest warrant.

    Yeah, that's working out well. Don't the people in Md. know about the Constitution?

  2. Wonder if there's any blow back or down side for the person making the false complaint. If not then it would be a really neat way to mess with somebody.

    At least they didn't deem her a suicide risk. Then she could have spent the weekend naked wearing a lovely designer "smock" made out of the furniture pads you get with a U-Haul truck rental.

    Ought to sue the department for false arrest.
