Why Do You Think They Call Them "Mounties"?

Canada has modified its controversial position on a United Nations arms control treaty.

And here we all thought "sporting purposes" was going to be our salvation...

  1. There is room for optimism here. I really cannot complain about how the wording says our responsibility towards gun control should be on a national basis and not what the UN says.

  2. Leaving the issue to national discretion (and out of UN jurisdiction) might not be a bad thing.
