If this gets upheld, things are going to get real interesting in places like California. [Read]
It also tells us something that with the media in a full court press feeding frenzy stumping for more gun control, this ruling comes down--in Maryland, of all places.
Kudos once again to SAF. If you support their efforts, you'll help build the war chest needed to make further progress possible.
David,
ReplyDeleteFirst I want to tell you that I am a big fan. I've been following you and Mike for about 18 months and am so very grateful for what you do for me and my family.
I am a resident of the People's Republic of Maryland and a very strong 2A supporter, a combat vet and father. I am 8 months into the MD permitting process and this is very welcome news. I wanted to forward the email I got from Maryland Shall Issue regarding their work with the state police regarding this process.

I feel compelled to point out this wild exception to the "Only Ones" stereotype. My dealing with the MSP has been nothing if not professional and courteous. I thought that their handling of this upheaval on the States grip on our rights has been laudable.
I bring this to your attention so that you may show this rare bright light to juxtapose the boundless bad news we seem to face in maintaining our rights to protect ourselves.
Thank you for your work and may God grant you and yours the strength and peace to carry-on this path.
With respect and admiration

“The state police will abide by state law and the ruling of the courts.”
ReplyDeleteGee, isn't that gratuitous? Or redundant? I mean, whoever heard of the state police not obeying the law?
Oh never mind.
