Ah, David, what ever happened to the "documentary" about Gunwalker to which I and many others pledged support? I pleged what I could, was getting regular email updates then {poof} nothing. How do we know this latest project won't go the same way?
Look, I am not in any wise saying you are part of anything. You are the 2nd-to-last person I would EVER suspect of being part of some sort of scam (the Dutchman is the last) but now we have this new "project" wanting support.
Bad Cyborg Yous say you pledged support for the documentary about Gunwalker. The production was based on reaching a minimum goal. It didn't make it, so the proposal was canceled. Did you actually give someone money? If not how did you even potentially get scammed?
Anon, BadCyborg, the Kickstarter appears to be run through Amazon. You pledge a certain amount with the card you have on file with your Amazon account. If the goal is met, the money is then withdrawn - I think the date was in the first week of October. If the goal is not met and the project folds as David described above, no money is withdrawn.

What gives??
It didn't raise enough money and folded due to lack of support.
ReplyDeleteI can't speak for the producer of the gun walking doc, but I will bet my two Emmys this gets made if I reach my kickstarter goal.
ReplyDeleteSAF and CALGUNS have already placed bets on me.
Thanks,
Kris
Here you go. I pledged $25.
ReplyDeleteJust donated, linked, and posted, David.
