Why he has not to date is anyone’s guess, as it would certainly not only
leave the president with no credible rebuttal but would also be too
dramatic of a development for the media to ignore and suppress. If he
does not, the only conclusion to be drawn is it’s because he doesn’t
want to. [More]
This afternoon's
Gun Rights Examiner column tries to find a good reason why Romney and the NRA leadership won't do one simple and vital thing--especially since the alternative is to give up on Fast and Furious.
He will not touch it tonight. The fact that he won't pledge to bring up Fast and Furious shows that he's not really a friend of the 2A, nor of the Constitution. It surprised me that he brought it up in response to the question about the AWB, he seemed to want to sweep it under the rug and move on. He didn't really hammer home the purpose of F&F: to gin up more support for gun control.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see Romney say, "This president has invoked executive privilege to prevent investigation by Congressional oversight committees into this scandal, which has cost the lives of hundreds of Mexican citizens and at least two American LEOs. I promise the American people and perhaps more importantly the Mexican people after I am elected this executive privilege claim will be revoked, and full cooperation with this investigation at all levels of my administration will proceed at full speed."
ReplyDeleteWhat more need be said?
Did the feral government ever punish any wrongdoers guilty of killing Randy Weaver's wife and son? Did feral agents guilty of assassinating members of the Branch Davidian cult then helping burn the complex to the ground, killing innocent women and children, ever receive the punishment they deserved? The precedent has been set. If illegal action is ordered and innocent lives are lost they are causalities, commonly referred to in military circles as collateral damage. The People have become collateral damage in a war run by an out of control, behemoth, hegemonic corrupt federal government.
ReplyDeleteNow Mitt Romney has a clear chance to change this historically accurate perception! Tonight Mitt.
I trust every Gun Rights Examiner regular has contacted the Romney campaign about this and also recruited your friends to?
