I heard rumbles about this move years ago. I figure it's just part of Dear Leader's newly found "flexibility"
As for "where in the Constitution this would be authorized" ... those people don't even have to pay lip service to the constitution any more. What was it that Dhimmicrat Representative from Kali a couple of years ago? "The government can do pretty much anything it wants." Leastwise that's my recollection. They can do anything we don't call 'em on. And the only way to "call 'em" that they're at all likely to listen to is with a projectile moving at 3K ft/sec. Kurt's right. "Evil exists because good men don't kill the government officials committing it." Or as I like to put it Ain't nothin' wrong with the government that a few well placed rifle rounds can't fix.
The consti-what, now?
