They're Making a List and Checking it Twice

CSGV's "Traitor's List," that is...

We already know my "boss" Mike is on it.

So are Kurt and I:
I have a ready-made signed confession list for them from a bunch of extremists -- aging white males, at that -- who signed onto the insurrectionist language "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it ... when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

And then, of course, there's "progressive icon" John F. Kennedy...

And "progressive icon" Hubert H. Humphrey...

But that was than and this is now.  If you believe the right of the people to keep and bear arms has a last resort purpose of keeping enemies foreign and domestic in check, and of resisting tyranny no matter from where it comes, then you, too are on their enemy's list.

Meaning they would like to see you arrested, tried, convicted and executed.  But first you need to surrender your guns.

  1. Those CSGV folks are some vile, nasty sounding people. They remind me of pre-revolutionary Bolsheviks or something like that.

    By their definition, I'm happy to join you and be called a traitor.

    The Second Amendment -- and the armed populace resulting from it -- exists as a last backstop against unbridled tyranny.

    It was enshrined right next to the First Amendment in case government became so tyrannical that "the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

    That is a historical fact and a modern day shield against any tyranny so unworkable the farmer must lay down his pitchfork and pick up his rifle.

    That cowards don't like history and facts means nothing to a patriot. Come for our weapons, and you get the result the Japanese feared and Hitler avoided. It's that simple.

    Leave free men no alternative, and the black flag will be raised again.

    No go cry to your mommy about it.

  4. CSGV can have my guns, but first I must run out of cartridges! Of course, CSGV is too cowardly to come themselves, they'll send some hapless "public servants" to do their dirty work. In the truly immortal words of King Leonidas, "Molon labe!"
