We're the Only Ones Going to the Dogs Enough

Memphis police said a police officer was shot when another officer tried to shoot a dog during the search of a home.  [More]
So is the dog OK?  If they didn't end up shooting it, why did they need to try in the first place?

  1. Come on, David...

The ONLY question that matters is, did the office who did the shooting go home at the end of his shift?

It was obviously a justified shooting. There was a charging, snarling animal, and well, you know, Officer safety trumps all else. Even when there is some "collateral damage".
