If the state of Illinois does not pass any new gun control law within 180 days, does it then revert to Constitutional Carry, where no license is required for a non-felon to carry a firearm openly or concealed?
Well, I guess there's no use trying to keep that cat in the bag--I've had that likely outcome agreed with by two attorneys a couple days back and figured the other side probably realizes that but didn't want to say anything just in case they don't, hoping they'll drag their feet and at the end of the order period, the old law is void and no new one is there to take its place. But Shhhh. Not that I don't expect to see it popping up all over the place now.
