    Well Newton Baker's boss was a big part of the problem.

    Then again, the hoi oligoi have never been against THEM having weapons. They just don't want the rest of us having them.

    Gun ownership and shooting sports were apparently very popular in the early 'progressive' era. When exactly did progressives stop liking guns?
