We need to keep an eye on these "conservative" organisations. Remember it was Edwin Feulner of the Hertitage Foundation who authored the language for the Assault Weapons Import Ban under Bush '41. He reportedly expressed some regret later, but we have it none the less. I think these people spend far too much time inside the Beltway to be trusted.
