Dangers of Gannett’s ethics violation outing gun owners continue to emerge

“I don't know exactly what he did, but apparently there are a bunch of very nasty people who are very angry with him,” Krafft continued. “The kind of nasty who don't see it as overkill to rape and murder a man's family in front of him before they necklace him. His telephone, cars and home are all listed in his wife's maiden name, and he has worked very hard to stay off the radar. But, unsurprisingly, he has a gun permit and your White Plains paper just put his name and address out on the internet for anyone to see.” [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner offering follows up on an ethics complaint.  You can join in too, you know, and I rather wish you would, if for no other reason than to tell some fascist Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists what you think of them.

  1. The only solution to this problem is to switch to a different type of system. Since it is agreed that the right to firearms applies to all citizens but a few who are disqualified due to mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, or felony record, retain a list of only those who are prohibited, and the cause. This keeps the list very small, the list can be quickly checked, and preserves the privacy of the vast majority. All others may choose whether they desire to keep and bear arms, but that is their business only.

Do all the adults at the neighboring 1313 Mockingbird Lane address have their name on that list? No? Then you better stay off their lawn. They may be weird, but that is their right. What about visitors to that address? The presumption should be that everyone is either rightfully armed, openly or concealed, or has chosen not to be armed, or for a small minority, prohibited.

You already know that Senator Dianne Feinstein is armed. It is your right to be treated equally with her. You are either free men, free women and citizens with all the rights of citizens, or slaves. Your choice. Demand to be treated as citizens. Is this an outlandish proposition? Read the Dred Scott v. Sanford Supreme Court decision and decide.
