Let's see now, what does the Second Amendment say?
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Hmmm. Nothing about licensing, or coursework before licensing, or limiting your rights based on the opinion of a few NRA members or anyone else.
I have a better idea. Government (Federal and state) should recognize what the Second Amendment states and rescind all infringement as a violation of the civil rights of U.S. citizens. As far as coursework in how to handle weapons, that should be as mandatory as coursework in landscape oil painting - available if you want it, but not compulsory, yet still advisable if you want to improve your technique and want better outcomes.
I have a hard time believing that those are real NRA members, just because some leftist medium says so.
ReplyDeleteThirdpower notes a motive for these "friends'" position.
