Contact!

From Chris Woodard on Facebook:
On occasion David Codrea posts up a 5 minute activism of the day. I’m taking it a step further. It’s time we make our voices heard.

The following is my email to Sheila Jackson Lee. Like all other senators and reps, who make it impossible for folks outside either their state or congressional district to contact them. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. Via normal channels, I cannot contact her as I’m not even in her state. Now if one is within her congressional district, there are still several hoops one must jump through to contact her. However there IS A WAY those of us who reside out of state to contact all of our congress critters.

On my new website GunRightsBills.com (GRB) it is easy to contact ANY senator or representative. In this case via GRB one is lead to her contact details.

Click on the ‘Contact’ tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the popdown menu to the ‘Website Problem’. While your ‘report’ may go to the website admin, if enough of us bitch about the way the site works, we may be able to get things changed. Also, our posts may eventually get through to the critter itself.

Lastly, this may sound harsh. Many of us get frustrated with folks here who feel free to express an opinion, or post up an advertisement that has little or nothing to do with this page. With that said, if YOU are not willing to do your bit for a 5 minute of activism, then why are you here in the first place? We have made it as easy as we possibly can.

I invite ANYONE to post up their 5 minute of activism. You might be surprised at the response to your invitation.

  1. Hell's bells, just use an addie and zip code from in the district...screw with these pigs.

  2. That's typically what I do--generally giving the address and phone number from one of their local offices.

  3. Good thing he typed it. She probably can't read cursive, either. She has to be the stoopidest person to serve in Congress since Joe "double barrel" Biden.
