    They do it to make the situation worse. Their goal is to make it so bad that the sheeple will beg them to grow the police state even more and faster than they are currently doing.
    They want to dupe the sheeple into not just accepting, but actually demanding, the sort of police state that Orwell warned of in 1984 .
    The problem is that many are just stupid enough to allow them to succeed with this scam.
