    I remember a grandmother character on the Roseanne show (in the early 90s) expressing a liking for one of her granddaughter's beaus because he resembled THAT FONZIE CHARACTER EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT!
    See! He was a has-been, joke punch line even then!
