They’re counting on the new Scarlet Letter, “R” -- the old one, “A,” being almost a “progressive” badge of honor -- making people afraid to speak out, lest they be branded with it. [More]Today’s Gun Rights Examiner notes racism charges by the collectivists have a purpose. Let them get away with it and it will chill political opposition. Let them succeed in doing that and we’ll have more than name-calling to worry about.
Notice this caption under the second photo in the NY Daily "News" article?
ReplyDeleteGallup poll data from 2007-2012 released earlier this year found that 50% of U.S. gun owners are white men and 64% are southern married men. Black gun owners totaled 21%."
So more gun owners are southern married men than are white men (whether southern or not, and whether married or not)? That would indicate that there are a vast number of non-white, southern, married, male gun owners.
I find that unlikely.
Went to PLOS ONE and read the “study.”
ReplyDeleteI learned, if one starts with a (flawed) premise, supplies a bunch of pretty spread sheets along with more horseshit gobbledegook, your “study” will be universally accepted by nutcakes if it’s published at a “scientific journal” such as PLOS ONE.
Here’s the Wiki entry about PLOS ONE:
“It covers primary research from any discipline within science and medicine. All submissions go through an internal and external pre-publication peer review, but are not excluded on the basis of lack of perceived importance or adherence to a scientific field. The PLOS ONE online platform employs a “publish first, judge later” methodology, with post-publication user discussion and rating features.”
OK – just publish clearly flawed bullshit in a “peer reviewed” “publish first, judge later” publication down under, and you will immediately be taken seriously by a plethora of mouth-breathing morons.
Remember, never underestimate the power of stupid, uninformed people in large groups. Oh yeah – never mind the little fact that gun control itself, in it's beginning in this country, was racist. A simple way to disarm recently freed slaves.
I bet the first thing the freed slaves did was try to obtain a firearm. Now it seems that the most vocal Jewish and Black “leaders” are anti self-defense.
I guess the statement that no one went broke underestimating the stupidity of the (American) public was correct. Looks like it applies equally to the people on the island against whom we fought a war for independence. Along with the folks on their Australian penal colony. Of course the “progressives” du juor (or whatever the hell these commie, anti-freedom idiots call themselves nowadays) believe the same crap without reservation.
I suppose that it’s actually possible that the hoi polloi are actually becoming stupider, against all odds
The racist roots of the democrat party's lust for 'gun control'

Our most accomplished spokesman in the United States Senate addressed this fallacious racism charge brought by the likes of people such as Dick Durbin, directly to Trayvon Martin's mother: http://www.theakforum.net/forums/14-general-discussion/165713-ted-cruz-tells-trayvon-s-mother-why-stand-your-ground-laws-can-t-possibly-racist.html#post1528239
ReplyDeleteDue to trolls like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etc. the charge of "Racism" has lost all of its sting. I believe the days of "White Guilt" are coming to an end.

We could take a look at those who support gun control and their acceptance of totalitarian government, but the communist liberals who run academia won't ask questions that contradict their totalitarian agenda.
