'Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire' a powerful way to share gun truths
In terms of a critique, mine is simple. I liked it. Candidly, some the subjects say some things I don’t agree with, others say things I do. Overall I think it’s masterfully done, and provides information that too few have been exposed to. I believe the reaction of most gun owners will be similar. And I believe most non-gun owners, at least those who aren’t doctrinaire anti-gun zealots, will find the subject matter approachable and the justifications presented sensible. In terms of providing a counter to a lifetime of media indoctrination, that's actually huge. [More]This afternoon's Gun Rights Examiner review asks if you're willing to spend a few minutes to help get a pro-gun message out to a mass audience, and even tells you what's in it for you.

Me, I still want to find out why Kidds Place in Holly Springs let their facility be used by the Mark and Gabby Tour for an anti-gun agenda publicity-op.

The Digital Divide
...digital media strategy, voter intelligence efforts and the deployment of computer-backed ‘Get Out the Vote’ field technologies... [More]A-yup.
Been trying to convince gun owners of that.
And I have to shake my head at all those on "our side" who dismiss the thought outright, automatically ceding those tools to the enemy with cantankerous, short-sighted dismissal.

EEOC's claim that background checks are racist must also apply to guns
If criminal background checks and requiring photo IDs really do produce unlawfully discriminatory rights-denying results, the inescapable conclusion is agents of the government are willfully, with premeditation, engaged in a criminal conspiracy to disenfranchise minorities from their right to keep and bear arms. On two different fronts. [More]This morning's Gun Rights Examiner commentary notes the Obama administration is claiming in court that if you require criminal background checks, you may be a racist. Aside from being a great launching point for a Jeff Foxworthy parody, they're directly contradicting the position they take on guns.
