Not all who can are distancing from states enacting anti-gun edicts

“We have only one goal in mind,” they elaborate, “to provide every law enforcement officer in the country with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to WIN a lethal encounter!” [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes that when goals collide, it's time to choose a side. Wouldn't you agree, Mr. LaPierre?

We're the Only Ones in Denial Enough

Sheriff David is committing a crime each time he does this, each time he unlawfully denies someone a gun permit he could be put in prison. [More]
What did Capt. Picard always say?

None So Blind

"What could possibly go wrong?" Jeff Smith, an assistant professor of politics and advocacy at The New School in New York, quipped in a Twitter post. [More]
Oh, Jeff. You and your snarky quips! The thing is, something does have to go wrong first. If someone is behaving evilly or negligently in a way that endangers others, they should be stopped and there should be consequences.

If they're not, then what the hell business is it of yours?  Or anyone's for that matter, including those who presume authority to issue permissions and enforce prior restraints.

You'd think a political advocacy "academic" would understand that, but yes, Jeff, we all understand, you're a doctrinaire "progressive" first and über alles.

We aren’t going to have our kids someplace where there are firearms.” [More]

Armed American Radio Redux

Producers Peter Gould, Gary Theroux return to AAR to discuss progress on the film Infringed, Dr. John R. Lott stay for an entire hour, surprise call from GOA’s Larry Pratt, regulars David Codrea, George Hill, Charles Heller and more!
And as a cool addendum, Peter and Gary put together a video of their interview.

I hope you share it far and wide.

Along with this.

A Respectful Suggestion

I respectfully suggest that you adopt a similar policy of exercising prosecutorial discretion to defer enforcement against agricultural employers and workers. [More]
Respectful to whom?

What's the Solution?

I guess the final scene from "Spartacus" isn't an option... [More]

The Right Answers

E.W. Jackson, Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in Virginia has received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) after receiving a rating of AQ for his “pro gun response on our candidate questionnaire.” [More]
Do we get to see it?

Meanwhile, Over in Furious Mike Paradise

An attacker pummeled a bus passenger so hard he smashed the bones in his face after calling the victim a “cracker” in Manhattan – marking the second time in two days that people appeared to be randomly targeted in racial tirades against white people, authorities said. [More]

Countdown to Confiscation

Flooding legislative offices with phone calls and written letters is particularly effective. [More]
Really? In California? Where subversives like Leland Yee win office with pretty close to 80% landslides?

What should his constituents do?

And what's the workaround for other legislators like that, when there's a Democrat supermajority in both chambers?

If you're talking confiscation, what's the plan if those calls and letters end up not being particularly effective?  Turn 'em all in, Mr. and Mrs. California?

To Hell and Back, with Susan Rice

Susan Rice addressed the well-heeled and connected globalists yesterday at the New America Foundation on why it's in American interests to risk all of this to initiate aggression against Syria. [More]

If you're not familiar with this group, you should be, and ought to check them out, including who they are (consummate insiders, including the Soros kid), who finances them (in part, you do), and what their agenda is (suffice it to say you owning machine guns is not high up on their priority list).

This was televised on CSPAN and I had it on in the background when I heard Rice say "I've been to my share of war zones."

I immediately wondered what kind of weapon she was carrying, whether she experienced life-threatening incoming, or, as Hillary Clinton described it when she lie...uh...misspoke about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia, "a minor blip" (What difference does it make?).

The nerve of these people.
