We're the Only Ones Terrorizing Enough

A resident in a neighboring building told us that he and his partner "were utterly confused and frankly terrorized...I literally had a flashlight-gun pointed at me from a sniper on top of the black armored truck the first time I opened our window to see what was going on." [More]
And remember, they hate us 'cause we're free!

  1. Would a reasonable person conclude that a rifle pointed at them is assault with a deadly weapon?

If so, at what point do you conclude that it is unjustified, and you act to defend yourself?

How far away do you have to be from a target of a search warrant to be safe from such an assault?

If the state of New York believes that it is appropriate to pass onerous, restrictive gun laws to promote the perception of safety, what is it doing to promote the perception of safety of everyone (both police and non-police) when the police are executing a search warrant?
