Don't Let Them Take Your Gun

Written* by Frank Zappa? [More]

How come his kids turned out to be such Prozi nincompoops?
And why wouldn't those over-achieving Zappas--Ahmet, Diva, Dweezel, Gail and Moon--jump at the chance to get their names in print? It's not like anybody actually knows what the hell it is they do or why they're famous.
* Should have said "produced."

  1. Sounds in the article like the recording was produced by Zappa, not that the song written by him.

  2. I can't find definition of "prozi" anywhere. What is it?... (And should it be entered in Urban Dictionary?).

  3. The only place you'll find it is here, where I introduce terms from time to time like "Only Ones" and "Authorized Journalists" which have gained limited traction outside this blog. More recently I've started using "MILMs" (Moms I'd Like to Mock) and "Prozis," a marriage of "progressives" and "Nazis." Whether they will catch on is unknown, but the important thing is I like them, and since this is my journal, that's good enough for me.
