You mean they've accepted that someone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian? And that letting a proven dangerous person move freely about the general population makes as much sense as letting a man-eating lion out of its cage after its time is up? And that making sure the potential victim pool is defenseless is insane, and anyone trying to impose otherwise needs to be taken in for observation and treatment -- with full due process, of course?
