Sheriff's report: 19 shots in friendly-fire incident 'proper' [More]I don't know what's more proper -- opening fire on one of their own or missing with all 19 shots.
Fortunately, "'multiple' mobile homes and cars had been hit," to add to the propriety of the situation and so that the incident wasn't a total loss.

Guns are not safe in the hands of the proles?! "no policy violations"?? Uh, what does that tell us about their vaunted "policies"? Bunch o' loons. And of course there's the usual and oft-recited self-exculpatory mantra: "was in fear of her life". Oh, well that makes it OK then! Sigh! And, what ever happened to the Rules of Engagement and Use of Force Continuum: "Be sure of your target before you shoot"? Or doesn't that apply to our self-described betters?!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago the local sheriff and his "men" had some old guy with a single shot shotgun surrounded outside the old guy's mobile home. The old guy squeezed off his single round, missing all the government employees. The sheriff and his merry band then proceeded to unload their shiny new Wonder Nines. All 50+ shots missed the old guy, but they shot the hell out of the trailer park.
ReplyDeleteSince the county was controlled by the Democratic machine back then, he somehow got reelected.
