  2. " . . . secure their establishments and identify them as gun-free." " . . . don't want guns around . . . provide a safe environment." Huh! Sounds oxymoronic, er, moronic! Some people simply will NEVER get it!

  3. Sounds like a very useful "service" to me. I appreciate when businesses and other private property owners clearly identify their places as gun free zones. That way I know not to bother going anywhere near them or giving them any of my money.

The fact that they are doing the opposite of providing a "safe environment" is their problem, and that of anyone who enters KNOWING they are prohibited from defending themselves.

  5. Why patronize a business that does not welcome me and does not want my business? I will spend my money elsewhere. Let that business owner enjoy his own rights - alone.

Those "No Guns" signs are like an "Irish Curse":

“May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
    May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
    May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.”
