Thanks for linking to this, David. I'm no-compromise on the RKBA, but people have to understand, it is going to take awhile to get good rulings in the courts (dare I say "the long march through the institutions?").
Strict scrutiny mandates, while not a panacea, are another weapon in our arsenal (hah, take that, MSM) to fight back against the loss of our rights.
Yeah, I agree SNBI too, but ask 'em if we do it their way, what will the outcome be? Make "Molon Labe!" comments while the antis use the courts to their advantage?
The neat trick is to prohibit the courts from declaring "public safety" a "compelling government interest" -- that is because it is a discretionary government service, and there is no right to it. See DeShaney.
