We're the Only Ones Disenfranchising Enough

Seeing as how Mr. Kennedy did not "obstruct, intimidate, threaten, or coerce any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to vote or to vote as he or she may choose, or for the purpose of causing such other person to vote for, or not to vote for, any candidate for state or local office or any other proposition at any election," Sheriff's Capt. Ken Burchfield has some explaining to do. [More]

Will their Republican sheriff-elect do anything about it?

  1. It is interesting to see the argument concerning private property rights. When used as a polling place, the property becomes a place where the public is invited to attend subject to the laws concerning regulation of polling places. The property owners must accept that they waive the right to refuse access to the property to anyone who legally may be there for the purpose of casting a ballot, an election observer or for working at the polling place.
