When in Riyahd

Part of me applauds this in principle, but I can't help suspect everything done publicly by these two is calculated to produce a resulting benefit. [More]

Without bold, defiant and liberating words to accompany the act, and noting she could have just stayed home under any number of excuses, I'm assuming provocation with a gain of some sort in mind, regardless of who pays the costs, which would be the same people who always do -- everyone else.

    I am surprised that I've not seen a reference to Condi Rice visiting Riyad a decade ago. Pants suit, high heels, sans vail etc. If I recall the Saudi's declared her an "honary man " to get around all the BS they practice.

    It was likely blurred so as not to confuse the locals into thinking Saudi Arabia had invited a Wookie into the kingdom.
