I just sent an email to my rep. asking her to oppose the ammo ban and also asking her to support the CCW reciprocity bill. She has been fairly good on gun rights, even though we are in California. I also told her I would be watching the outcome of these issues.
Regarding the proposed ATF ban on 5.56 ammo, do you know what would make more of an impact? If Hornady as a company publicly stated that it wouldn't comply. All of the citizens in the U.S. could write the ATF, and at the end of the day, the ATF is going to do whatever the hell it wants. They already made up their collective gun grabbing minds when they removed the exemption from the rule book, as evidenced in Katie Pavlich's article. If Hornady said, "The ATF can attempt to ban whatever they want. They lack the legislative authority to do it, and Hornady will not comply with an illegal power grab." then they might reconsider. Hornady would be a hero, and millions of customers would flock to your doors to buy your products. Sincerely,
