Hell, if they reduce the minimum non-standards any more, there won't be any "standards". How high, er, low of standards does a State-empowered hoodlum need, anyway? Just enuf to be able to memorize and puke up their "trained in" self-exculpatory mantras, and write up their police fiction, er, reports, without too much help from the "higher-ups"!
