Corruption of Blood

Trying to hide from the actions of your forebears is just silly. [More]

Show me someone who does not have unsavory ancestors. Anyone who would hold that against you is a rank hypocrite not worth worrying about. That this cartoon character is the one doing the worrying -- and that he has willing media co-conspirators, provided they can get away with it -- tells us much about real-life "progressive" character.

  1. My Dad's parents were from Scotland, and he said some of his uncles and cousins in the 1800s were excellent cattle rustlers... Naturally, most of those cattle had been stolen from them by the English. The clan didn't consider it theft, but recovery.

    So, it depends at least some on which side of the question one sits, not to mention the fact that the descendants never have any say in the actions of their ancestors to start with.
