  1. I have a better idea. Since these anti-rights creatures tend to decide, at a whim, who can exercise a specific right, and the criteria is determined and decided by them, how about this:

No one can work for government, or run for ANY elected office, unless they prepare their own income taxes. And I don't mean with the help of Turbotax, a tax program, a CPA, a tax preparation service - I mean, using the forms and instructions available PREPARE AND FILE THEIR OWN TAXES. If unable to perform these calculations, why should they be able to enforce laws, vote, or run for an elective office?

Anyone who runs for president has to provide 5 years worth of self-prepared income tax forms. Upon applying to run, every candidate is immediately audited. If they fail the audit - they can't run.

Anyone who hasn't prepared their own taxes are also immediately fired from all government offices (since we all know that the alleged proscription of ex post facto laws means squat...)

IRS uses forms approved by OMB, which supposedly explains how long it takes - on average - to complete the form. So, I don't give a shit less if the Romneys and the Trumps take six months to prepare their own taxes with a little calculator. If they're unable to properly perform this act, why should they be able to run for office, or have any oversight over the public - other than eliminating the income tax?

The only ones exempt form this requirement should be the one who just refuse to file - because it's impossible to do correctly.

This makes more sense than revoking someone's right to self defense because they asked for assistance regarding financial matters - which is EXACTLY what people do when they hire H&R Block, or employ attorneys and CPAs to fill in forms for them.
