The Voice of Experience

He repeated, “It doesn’t matter. They have more soldiers than you have bullets, besides in this country they have sophisticated means. Americans will not stand a chance against this government any more than we did. [More]
No, in fact "they" don't.

What defeatist bullshit. So much is wrong with their "analysis," starting with a subjectively defeatist attitude. No wonder these two ignorant people were go-along-to-get-along slaves -- just the type NOT to take counsel from.

  2. "They use torture to get compliance. Many Romanian men were burned alive for not turning over their guns, and some didn’t even have guns, but the authorities burned them anyway just to strike fear in the rest."

Even people-roasting government agents have to go home sometime. And if they don't live in concrete bunkers, the fires work both ways.

Of all the folks I've known, former immigrants from the Eastern Bloc countries are the most pro-liberty, pro-BOR Americans around, and the most skeptical of the pantomime donkeys that infest our levers of government.
Romanians, Poles and Russians. And why not? Many of the are intimately familiar with the pattern of lies, corruption and steaming bullshit that are the hallmarks of Bolsheviks.
In the case of my good Polish buddy, it chaps his hide no end that he escaped from all of that with his family in his teens during the Reagan era only to watch authoritarian Marxism take root and grow here in the "shining city on a hill".
