Let everyone in this country keep their guns, but force them to insure those guns. It seems so obvious when you think about it. [More]No. We will not comply. I don't even need to read the rest of the details. Just "No."
Your move, David Ferguson. Now what? Be specific. What are you going to do, have others arrest me? How do you even know what I have? What about the millions more who will not comply? You know about them, don't you? Or are you truly that cloistered?
Come on, flesh it out. I want to see just how bloodthirsty you can be, as long as it's not your precious hindquarters on the line.
That was easy.
This unfathomably self-impressed collectivist daydreamer and those embracing his childish nonsense don't understand the way things work.
RIght, because a thug is going to insure his gun right after he gets around to registering it and obtaining his concealed-carry license. We all know that.
ReplyDeleteAnother stupid proposal that penalizes the law-abiding and doesn’t even inconvenience the people actually responsible for the problem. But the insurance companies should love it, as they would get millions in premiums at the cost of pennies in payouts—actual (uninsured) thugs will never cost them a dime.
The dimwits who periodically show their ignorance by making this proposal just don't understand that firearms are already covered by homeowner's liability insurance.
ReplyDeleteFirearms accidents are rare. Only 500 deaths per year from accidents, much less than drowning in bathtubs, falls, and other home accidents. Most insurance companies don't even ask about firearms because their exposure is so small.
Nobody can buy insurance for criminal acts, whether they plan on running someone down with their car or shooting them with a gun.
And, as with all gun control laws, the thugs and murderers would just ignore it.
