“Honestly, I’m incredibly proud at how I handled the situation,” said Spitzer... [More]What, for reinserting yourself into a situation and threatening lethal force against someone who made no threats and who did not try to attack you...?
“There’s a million different ways to handle an issue or an incident, but what he did did not constitute any type of crime,” Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. That's because he's a supervisor, enjoying "Only One"-like carry "privileges." Any guesses what tune Hallock would be singing if you or I had done that in "may (not and probably won't) issue" SoCal? Weapons charges, brandishing, assault, kidnapping...
Oh, look: Sandra Hutchens was co-chair of his campaign.
You know, the OC sheriff who "is back to making it tough for people to get concealed weapon permits."
There are laws for you and laws for them. Just like the Founders intended...
Amazingly enough - Spitzer has now inserted himself into the comments section of the linked story, attempting to defend his attack. Most of his 'justification' is giving info about the man he attacked - info that he couldn't have known at the time.
