I have my own plan for protection in my home. I keep a baseball bat by my bed. [More]That's a really stupid plan, Duane. With all the developments in personal weaponry that have happened over the past several millenia, leave it to a "progressive" to want us all to revert to clubs.

Doesn't he know that people are 837,000% more likely to be killed by their own clubs rather than be able to successfully defend themselves?
ReplyDeleteI have no clue who this guy is. Is he mocking antis? Poe's Law.
ReplyDeleteThe more bats that are out there, even legally acquired, only makes it easier for the bad guys to get them. Once every home has at least one bat, the bad guys can break into any home and get one.
ReplyDeleteAll the better to beat you with, Duane!

Steve, he's not mocking antis, he's a Prozi gadfly. They've published several of his letters. Here's a representative sample.
ReplyDeleteOkay, what's a Prozi? If it's related to Stanley Milgram's experiment, I have an idea. I know of that, but mostly just that basics.
ReplyDeleteMy word, I use it here all the time, so regular readers are familiar with it. Combination of "progressive" and Nazi, which is what they are.
ReplyDeleteAh.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't bring myself to read the article. I gave up listening to stupid people when I retired.
ReplyDeleteIs it a good, American, wooden bat, like they had back in the 1700s, when the Bill of Rights was written?
Or is it an an aluminum assault bat that the bat lobby misleadingly names a "modern sporting bat" even though it's only good for whomping people?
