Hurry Up and Wait

Gun rights and gun control advocates alike will have to wait a little longer to find out if the U.S. Supreme Court will hear a challenge to a Highland Park firearms ban. My prediction from a couple days ago in response to being asked:
[M]y *opinion* is they will not hear it and will not say why ... If they do hear it, I don't see how an honest reading of 2A and subsequent decisions could rule against the right to own them, meaning if they go the other way, it's game on against those of us who will not comply.
I'll have more to say after the decision -- or lack thereof  -- but nothing I haven't been saying for years.
