As for the threatened boycott, he's going to have to decide what's more important to him. It would be an easy call for me, since I fear that when I die and go to hell, they're going to make me watch sports.

  1. David, to be fair, he did go on to say: “I don’t agree that it’s more safe,” he added, citing the Virginia Tech mass shooting in 2007, in which 32 people were killed.

    Still, I did gloss over that. As for "As for the threatened boycott, he's going to have to decide what's more important to him." -- you are exactly right. There is no middle ground here.

    I'll keep an eye on developments. Worth updating, perhaps.
