Could They Bury the Damn Thing Any Deeper?

I know it can't possibly be as big a story as Bruce Jenner's sex change or the little boy who's a "geography whiz," but c'mon, guys...

NRA Ignoring Immigration Threat To Gun Rights

Yet GOA seems to be the only gun group drawing attention to the issue. As David Codrea noted in a series of columns last year, the NRA avoids addressing the immigration issue like the plague. [More]
I repeat my challenge: It's incumbent on anyone who disagrees to refute this with more than mere opinion. If you have superior numbers, let's have 'em.

No "Yeah, buts." No phony "they're conservatives at heart." No changing the subject to the merits of stateless anarchy.

Address the damn numbers we're going to have to live with in the real world.

A Disarming Proposition

Several of them, actually. [More]

  • Gun bans happen because oath-breakers know they can get away with them politically. How they'll respond when victims sick of having their rights stolen by government criminals cease obeying the bans on a massive scale remains to be seen.
  • It's funny, how those who say trust your life to technology couldn't even get a projector to work.
  • And, of course, the hive insects behind both of those infringements want to suspend due process and just take guns away on the say-so of someone who may or may not be bearing a grudge or have a will to contest.

Silver State Progress

Well God bless her.

Now how tolerant will she be of people with different beliefs?

What? She wants the state monopoly of violence to bend them to her will under force of arms? And destroy them if they refuse?

Rich Hollywood stars. Is it any wonder I love them so?

Blast from the Past

The following is instructive in more ways than one. For it shows that free African American citizens had arms in 1841. And that citizens had military cannon. Interesting how that this event isn't taught in history classes...[More]

About the Dobyns Story

I just got paid a very nice compliment by a reader.  After thanking him, I replied:
Please do everything you can to notify everyone from other activists to Jason Chaffetz at Oversight to big media-- just like in the early days of Fast and Furious, we had to pound and push and scream to get things noticed. The only way we can get attention for this is to do the same, meaning we need all the voices we can get spreading the word, sharing the links, demanding it not be buried and banging pots and pans until they can no longer ignore us. I have another story I'm still trying to verify that points to more corruption, and again, I expect to be pestering folks on that one, too...:-)
I wish I didn't have to, but what else am I to do?

Revoked judgment in Dobyns case reveals further government misconduct

Contained between such surprisingly literary judicial bookends is much “legalese,” and much “backstory” that in many cases reads more like a novel than like a record of dry facts. It's almost surreal when figures from Operation Fast and Furious appear in this account, and they act in character consistent with how they established themselves in that story. This time, with additional “cast members” (and the legal document at times reads just like a script), the technique of “slow walking” (as in deliberately dragging their feet investigating the arson of Dobyns’ home) brings to mind another “walking” technique employed by ATF in that other installment of the bureau’s directed misadventures. Wife jailed for 20 YEARS for firing warning shots to scare off abusive husband finally walks free - after legal campaign against 'unfair' Stand Your Ground law made infamous by George Zimmerman's trial [More]
Now these people know how to write concentrated talking points!

Except they may have left out the "white privilege" part (I don't know because I couldn't force myself to slog through so much dense hyperbole).

Which means it's up to an old ammosexual gun-humper to recall an inconvenient truth:
To show discriminatory application of the law, the Zimmerman outcome is juxtaposed against that in the Marissa Alexander case, ignoring that Alexander was not under attack when she left her house, went to her garage, retrieved a gun from her vehicle’s glove box and returned to the house to point the gun “in the direction” of her alleged abuser who had his hands in the air, and then fired a shot. To cry Jim Crow racism here, especially since all involved were black, is at best misguided. So that, naturally, is what the editorial does.
That, and of course, Zimmerman's attorney didn't present a SYG defense.

Personally, I'm glad she's finally out. I hope she learned her lesson and everyone now agrees if she's safe enough to be living among us, she's safe enough to get her gun back.

What? We're being lied to? And none of the "progressives" screaming about how Alexander has been denied her rights want her to get a fundamental and supposedly unalienable one back?

A Two-Edged Sword

I dunno -- if somebody votes to convict me of a "gun crime" instead of nullifying the charges, I think their role in violating rights and helping secure a monopoly of violence ought to be exposed. [More]

It's a tough one though -- what do you do when you have John Gotti on trial? Or even scarier, Eric Holder?

"This isn’t About the Second Amendment"

No, of course not. [More]

That's about not being infringed. This is about Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists-in-training trying to swindle readers into giving up their rights to a monopoly of violence, and using deceptive cost-only ruling elites-developed talking points that purposely don't acknowledge benefits in order to facilitate the con job.

You know, the same old reliance on fraud by lying "progressive" tools...

About Those NRA Elections

I proposed one way to figure out who you want.

Here's one who under no circumstances should be allowed back on the board -- which naturally means he's a nominating committee darling, and further explains the sellout and why LaPierre, Cox & Co. refuse to even acknowledge the "pathway to citizenship" danger to RKBA:

DO NOT VOTE FOR GROVER NORQUIST.

You remember him-- Mr. Amnesty, the NRA director who put on his other special interest hat to endorse a gun-grabber...?

Thanks, Reince
And that way, we can make sure one of our establishment-picked amnesty-supporting  gun squishes can continue the sellout, and siphon off funds that could have helped one of those nasty extremist Teatards. It's a win-win (for the Chamber of Commerce, and ultimately, for the Democrats)!
