First Blood

The first immigration bill introduced under Rep. Paul Ryan’s speakership Wednesday would bypass the annual 66,000 cap on H-2B work visas by allowing foreigners admitted in any of the three previous years to remain and not be subject to the cap. [More]

Being Gutless "Progressives," They'll Probably Cave

Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white male privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exist, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-0 demands. [More]
All this and a hunger strike?

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of an opportunity here.

UPDATE: Well that was fast.

About Last Night

I was on in Hour 3.

Danny, We Hardly Knew Ye

A 17-year-old MS-13 gang member known as “the Enforcer” of Sterling, Virginia, shot and killed a high school student on orders handed down from gang leaders in El Salvador... [More]

And we can't know the name of his killer because the innocent young tyke is a minor, and protecting that is more important than letting the rest of us know who the monsters walking among us are.

What purpose does it serve to welcome these "guests" again...?  Aside from embracing cultural diversity...?

Spoken with Authority

Yeah, I'm sure if the Prozis were directing what's permissible, it'd be a ton of laughs, instead of the Two Minutes Hate this subversive hag is conducting. [More]

I actually thought the show had its moments, and even found the Larry David "heckling" not just funny, but effective at showing the Sissyfaggers how impotent they are.

With "progressives" every day is Opposite Day.

And of course the deluded cows that comprise her audience fall for all the other claptrap, including "common sense gun safety laws" and the like. If they tried to get too close to their idol, they'd quickly find the illusion of reciprocal caring is all just a lucrative act, and there are two sets of rules.

Here you go, gals -- all the "submission and equality" you could ever hope for:

Symbolic protest against slave trade.

Feeding Off of Corpses

Doing this not only pees in the pool as far as claims of support validity, but may actually convince them there's greater demand than there is, leading to campaign miscalculations.

And of course we know the real reason behind this cynical People Dead, Send Us Money manipulation of their useful idiot base:

Closing the Barn Door After the Horses Have Escaped

We're the Only Ones Misconducting Enough

Two police officers who accused a motorist of trying to grab one of their guns were convicted Thursday of misconduct in part because a dashcam video showed the motorist holding his hands up. [More]
"Misconduct" sounds a lot more harmless than all the charges it sounds like could be applied.

Giving Objectivity the Axe

First off, there's a big difference between not objecting to technology per se and "kinda liking" it, so the whole piece starts with an untruth. The objection is to mandates, which David Axe indicates he's aware of. But he just couldn't resist labeling people who exercise their free market choices to keep those choices from being taken away by the state as "gun nuts." Typical, for a government nut... [More]

As for the gizmo itself -- responsible gun owners don't need it. Irresponsible ones won't use it. But I'm not a one size fits all kinda guy-- if you can envision this being helpful for particular situations you find yourself in, go for it.  Just don't tell me I'm required to as well, and in all situations, and we'll be fine.

One Ring to Bring Them All and In the Darkness Bind Them

And these new biometric identification cards will not just be for refugees. According to a different FindBiometrics report, authorities hope this technology will enable them to achieve the UN’s goal of having this kind of identification in the hands of every man, woman and child on the planet by the year 2030… [More]
Or in their foreheads...?

So Much for "Logic and Common Sense"

"Obviously, I'm disappointed," said former Gov. Parris N. Glendening, a Democrat whose administration pushed for the database to fulfill a campaign promise. "It's a little unfortunate, in that logic and common sense suggest that it would be a good crime-fighting tool." [More]
Noting the truism that for "progressives," every day is Opposite Day, who could be surprised by this outcome?

In private enterprise, a manager who presides over a fiasco and squanders major resources doesn't last long.  In government, these parasites go on to either higher office or lucrative access gigs.

Interesting concept. I haven't delved into it to ascertain accuracy and methodology, but it certainly appears to merit a closer look, especially when digging into things a little further produces "justifications" like this.

What's on YOUR Bookshelf?

From Stephen P. Wenger:
As we move into the holiday season, please consider autographed copies of my book as gifts for those people in your life who would benefit from my views on armed self-defense. The small amount of revenue that I generate from my sale of my book and the smaller amount that I receive in royalties for copies purchased from other vendors help pay for the cost of keeping my website available. Your purchases – for personal copies or for gifts – along with your recommendation of this book to others are much appreciated.
