ReplyDeleteAs I sit here reading this, a Chantix commercial just came on the TeeVee. Going on about how you can quit smoking. The problem is, Chantix is a anti-depressant. Once you have that in your medical records, how long before you are a prohibited person? I think I'll just keep smoking and keep my guns.
You are so right! I am a female veteran, a combat medic; and we used drugs that were initially developed as anti-anxiety, anti-depressant & a vast variety of barbituates and amphetamines - for purposes that have nothing to do with their originally designed, and known by purpose. Everything from Evac Surgical procedures to simple post-TBI tinnitus and anti-migraine preventatives for those allergic to the ergotamine classification! This will effect the war fighters and vets in greater numbers than probably any other single group - but all Americans together, who take pride in our Nation, are needed to defeat this encroachment on the Liberty, granted us by the Blood of our Forefathers (and mothers) which is enshrined in our Constitution and in the Bill of Rights!
