We're the Only Ones Incremental Enough

While testifying in favor of Washington’s HB 2460, the ban of self defense in public parks, retired King County sheriff’s deputy David Hellene says “We look foolish! I’ve got family in Europe, and they can’t understand how this gun violence continues and how we do nothing about it and don’t speak out about it.” He rambles on to say “We change traffic laws incrementally over the last 40 years to prevent DUI deaths, and I think we need to do something incrementally here to prevent these kinds of deaths from happening.” [More]
