This is unacceptable, and happens repeatedly across the country: "Without the video I would be in prison. There is no doubt about that."
The only solution I can think of is effective punishment. When cops commit perjury, when prosecutors suborn perjury and commit other frauds upon the court and attempt to pervert Justice, two things need to happen:
1. They need to be prosecuted every time they're caught in provable crime, not ignored 19 times out of 20.
2. They need to be sentenced to 10x what their victim would have suffered if they hadn't been caught, because the vast majority of the time they aren't caught.
Yes, I'm saying that if a badge toting felon tries to frame a law abiding citizen for a ten year felony that I don't want to see that ex-cops face outside of prison in the next 100 years.
